Dr. Eugene Sam

Dr. Sam is known for his friendly disposition and his ability to put patients at ease. 

Though born and raised in Calgary, Dr. Sam went to the University of British Columbia after high school on a full scholarship and spent all 8 years of his university career there.  After achieving his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry (DMD) in 2004, he practiced in South Surrey until he decided to open this practice in Vancouver.  He is extremely committed to continuously advancing his dental knowledge, and is a member of multiple dental study clubs.  He also travels internationally yearly to attend courses in all topics of dentistry.  In addition, he enjoys teaching and is a part time clinical instructor in the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of British Columbia.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Sam likes to spend time with his wife and two young sons.  He enjoys staying active by skiing and snowboarding in the winter, and playing volleyball in the summer.  His interests also include travelling and attempting to cook.

Dr. Fedorova

Dr Fedorova is excited to join the team at Marine Cambie Dental. Born and raised in St Petersburg, Russia, in 2003 she relocated to Australia to pursue a career in dentistry. After 8 years of undergraduate and graduate education, she graduated with Honours from the University of Sydney in 2010 with multiple awards for outstanding leadership and academic achievements in dentistry.

Over the following years Dr Fedorova continued to further her education and while in full time private practice, attended numerous courses Australia-wide, obtained the prestigious Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (FRACDS) as well as the highly regarded Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry (Implants) from the University of Melbourne.

Dr Fedorova believes in giving back to the profession through teaching and volunteering. Over the last 9 years she has taught across multiple dental and medical disciplines in Australia and Canada. She has been a clinical instructor at the UBC Dental School since 2016 and regularly volunteers at Vancouver Native Health Society.

After gaining extensive experience in general and emergency dentistry in Australia, Dr Fedorova made the permanent move to beautiful Vancouver in 2016 and is proud to call this city home. Here she aims to continue providing high quality dental care in a compassionate and kind manner. Outside of dental practice, Dr Fedorova can be found exploring another corner of the world or baking treats for the team.

Dr. Martinez

Dr. Martinez was born and raised in Vancouver where she graduated with an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of British Columbia. Her passion for dentistry took her to Australia where she obtained her dental degree at the University of Sydney in 2014, graduating with Honours. She then worked for 2 years at Sydney Dental Hospital as an Endodontic Resident prior to returning home to practice in Vancouver. She enjoys all aspects of Dentistry and is committed to providing quality, patient-centred care to the highest technical standards, while maintaining compassion and warmth that ensures patients are relaxed and comfortable.

Outside of work Dr. Martinez enjoys travelling, hiking, fitness classes and yoga, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Michelle Campos

Michèlle graduated as a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) in 2012 and loves everything about the dental field, especially patient interactions. She is fluent in French and English as she is from Québec. She is a mom of a busy toddler and is expecting baby number two in the summer 2016! In her spare time she loves to bake and cook for her family and friends and enjoys a healthy lifestyle. Michelle can't wait to see your smile! 

Jenny Chung

Jenny is one of our Registered Dental Hygienists. She has been working in dentistry since 2000. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Integrated Sciences at the University of British Columbia, then obtained her Diploma of Dental Hygiene at Vancouver Community College. She feels privileged to be in a career that she loves. Her latest endeavours keeping her busy outside of work include raising two young kids with her husband and trying new recipes with her pressure cooker.
